Yora Adventures captures the Castle Linn
This week we exhibited at the event Crossover Castle Linn, which was dedicated to the theme “Sport meets Culture”. All this took place in an exceptional setting: A true medieval castle, the Castle Linn (“Burg Linn”) in Krefeld, Germany. So, what better place could there be to place and present a modern role-playing game with classic game experience? Therefore, we gave people some insights into Yora Adventures and the development process. Even a little puzzle had to be solved and we were pleasantly surprised to see that kids were doing better than their parents. Well, guess we’ve found a new target group for the app?!
After talking with some parents we did notice that tabletop role-playing games are the perfect “tool” to bring together the family. As Yora combines all the great things about role-playing with the advantages of our digital world through mobile phones, parents have a modern and exciting new option to get the attention of their kids, as they love to interact with mobiles. On the other hand tabletop role-playing games foster creativity, teach problem solving and teamwork. In conclusion, this is a segment we will keep an eye on in the future.
Besides our friends of the gaming, eSport and virtual reality industry, we met incredibly enthusiastic visitors. Our booth was located next to Weltenweber VR-Experience company in the old knights’ hall next to Castle Linn’s main tower. Therefore, we capture this great experience, we produced a short spot, you can watch here:
